Ancient North-Central Deccan region, copper coin of Kutapada, 'Gajalakshmi' type, 7.73g. Obv: Lakshmi seated on lotus being anointed by a pair of elephants pouring water over her from pots held in trunks (partly visible), the motif is partly obliterated by a countermark of a bull and triangle-headed standard within a square punch; Brahmi legend …tapa(dasa) above. Rev: Bold Nandipada drawn with double lines, double circle to its right with triangle-headed standard above.
