Ancient Malwa, Ujjain/Mandasor region, post-Mauryan uninscribed die-struck copper coin, (200-150 BC), not listed in Pieper, 7.97g. Obv: Human figure holding staff standing facing, tree-in-railing to left. Rev: Bull standing facing left, small 'Ujjain' symbol above and traces of a border.

About extremely fine, Very rare.

The coin is unusual in having a bull on reverse instead of the usual 'Ujjain' symbol seen on coins of this series. It is also twice the normal weight range for such coins.
