Ancient Malwa, Maheshwar region, post-Mauryan uninscribed die-struck copper coin, (200-150 BC), similar to Pieper '348, 3.46g. Obv: Symbolic configuration, horse/ass facing right in centre, 'Ujjain' symbol below, horizontal tree-in-railing 'above and small taurines and Swastikas to right. Rev: 'Ujjain' symbol with small Nandipadas in quadrants.
