Obv: A 'tree-in-railing' device in centre surrounded by Brahmi legend Agodake Agacha Janapa... around; counterstruck by a similar device with legend Agodake Agacha Mitrapada…Rev: Lion seated in profile, facing right struck twice.

The ancient site of 'Agodaka' is identified with Agroha in South-West Haryana and it is mythically believed to be the place of origin for the 'Agrawal' community, which dominates business enterprises across India. Many times, Agodaka coins are found counterstruck between types of successive series.
