Original head chip for "David", played by Michael Fassbender along with a piece of neck skin used on the production of the Ridley Scott directed science fiction horror film 'Alien: Covenant' (2017), where the crew of a colony ship, bound for a remote planet, discover an uncharted paradise with a threat beyond their imagination, and must attempt a harrowing escape.
Prior to the film's theatrical release, 20th Century Fox released a promotional short film titled Meet Walter. The short features a close-up product shot of a central processor chip manufactured by AMD being lowered directly onto the android's head.
The film features Michael Fassbender and Katherine Waterston, with Billy Crudup, Danny McBride and Demian Bichir in supporting roles.
