Akbar (AH 963-1014 /1556-1605 AD), Mint off flan, Silver Misqal, Kalima type, Obv: Arabic legend the Kalima Shahada within a circle, Rev: Persian legend "Jalal ud din Muhammad Akbar Badshah Ghazi", 4.60g, 23.24mm, (Unlisted in KM), test mark, some flatness, about very fine, Very Rare.
Note: The Shahrukhis (Misqal) of Akbar's reign were issued at the mints in Delhi, Kabul, Lahore and also at Hisar Firuza. The coins of this period continue the Timurid standards used by the earlier Mughal rulers, Babur and Humayun.
