Medals, Patiala State, 1925 & 1938, Maharaja Bhupendra Singh and Maharaja Yadavindra Singh, Rajya Abhishekh & Jashan-e-Nuqrai Medals, Silver, in original mount as worn, about extremely fine, Extremely Rare.

a. Maharaja Bhupendra Singh’s Jashan-e-Nuqrai Silver Jubilee Miniature Medal, 1925, Obv: a central disc with a dot within crescent below and a lotus above, two oval-shaped discs with portraits in it, Bhupendra Singh young head in left and in right representing a 25 years time span, Rev: Gurumukhi, Devanagari and Urdu legend “Jashane Nuqrai" (Silver Jubilee celebration) within an inter-twined rope, (T Mc # 227 Miniature).

b. Maharaja Yadavindra Singh’s Rajya Abhishekh or Accession (Coronation) Medal with miniature (2), 1938, Obv: portrait of the king facing front, Gurumukhi legend “Maharajadhiraja Raj Rajeshwara Shri Yadavindra Singh Mohinder Bahadur” around the field, Rev: a dot within crescent and two batons with a flower within a decorated disc, on outer border three circles with lotus flowers at the top and Gurumukhi legend “Rajyabhisheka 25 Cheta 1994”(1938 AD) at below, 29.7g, 37.30mm, (T Mc # 229 & miniature also).

Note: In this lot, there are two miniature medals and one medal in the original mount, all of which were probably awarded to the same individual during the reign of two different Maharajas.
