Cal. approx. 58. NSN. Bbl. 14". Original iron, somewhat crude lock showing effective design but unsophisticated workmanship. Iron trigger guard & bbl. thimble. Wood ramrod. Stock appears to be cherry. CONDITION: bbl., lock & trigger guard all have a dark, ancient patina. Lock holds both full & half cock. Stock has a 2 1/4" crack extending from the front of the lock to the bbl. channel. There is a tight crack extending from the trigger guard partially around the wrist. The remainder of the stock has various dents & dings from years of use. Ramrod is missing its tip. Bore is fair. (01-17188/BF). ANTIQUE. $1,200-1,500
