DONATION: This special Altai Argali Conservation tag will fund on the ground conservation of this species in Mongolia. Mongolia is offering for the second time, a Conservation Permit for one Altai argali for the 2024 hunting season. The proceeds from this sale will go to support scientifically sound population surveys and habitat conservation actions in Mongolia. Mongolia and WSF are currently working to develop a Memorandum of Understanding that will solidify collaborative conservation actions for Altai argali into the future. Under WSF’s Central Asia Conservation Strategy, Mongolia represents an essential part of Central Asia in wild sheep and wild goat conservation. We are excited and honored that Mongolia is joining efforts with WSF in working towards Central Asia Caprinae conservation. Like our North American conservation programs, your sponsorship payment for this new Central Asia conservation program via WSF funds are considered a charitable contribution for US citizens. This hunt should be scheduled between July 1 through September 30th, 2024. Included are all land transportation in/out of the hunting are, hunting camp accommodations, meals in countryside, guide, interpreter, hunting license, one rifle permit cost (Mongolian customs allows only 30 bullets per rifle), state veterinary certificate, trophy fee, field care of the trophies, domestic flight (if available), and CITES Permit cost. The winner of this auction tag is responsible for observers’ costs, international flight cost, accommodations, and food while in Ulaanbaatar City. All export import fees and air freight for trophy shipping, insurance, and gratuities. Non-hunters are welcome at $250 per day while countryside of Mongolia. Additional hunters are welcome if required tags are available.

A 5% buyer’s premium will be added to the final bid price of this special permit/tag (unless prohibited by statute.) The proceeds will be dedicated to WSF Conservation Initiatives. If the winner of this item refuses to pay the premiums required, the item shall be offered to the next highest bidder for the price he/she bid.
