(EPCOT, 1986) A set of (26) Walt Disney Imagineering reference photos of the Mt. Fuji Rollercoaster for the unrealized 1981 Epcot World Showcase Japan Pavilion. The research images of Clem Hall concepts were generated five years later, possibly for the development and expansion of Tokyo Disneyland in 1986. The pictures feature tandem-style vehicles (similar to Space Mountain rockets) passing traditional torii gates, Komainu lion dogs, and legendary Kami spirit encountered before a drop-off over the World Showcase Lagoon. Measuring 4.5"x3", the colorful photo prints are in overall fine condition, giving a rare glimpse of a never-built attraction.
