1) ENLISTED ARTILLERY. An enlisted grade peaked cap for the artillery featuring a dark green band w/ a sage green top & red piping throughout. Aluminum wreath & cockade. No eagle present. No chinstrap or side buttons. Sweatband intact. Sweatshield marked, “ORIGINAL SCHELLENBERG SONDERKLASSE”. CONDITION: hat is slightly misshaped. There is widely scattered, light moth damage. 2) CUSTOMS OFFICIAL. A low grade customs officer peaked cap. Hat has a kelly green band w/ a sage green top & kelly green piping. Aluminum wreath, cockade & customs eagle. Chinstrap is alternating silver bullion & green. Sweatband & sweatshield are intact. CONDITION: hat generally shows light wear overall. The eagle is sewn on as rear pins are missing. 1 Side button is missing. 3) JAEGER ENLISTED. An enlisted grade peaked cap for a Jaeger unit featuring a Kelly green band w/ sage green top & Kelly green piping. No wreath or eagle. Leather chinstrap w/ side buttons intact. Leather sweatband. Sweatshield reads in part, “CLEMENS WA_NER BRAUNSCHWEIG HAMBURG 55”. CONDITION: hat is a bit misshaped & shows moderate overall wear. Visor shows a little storage damage to the finish. There are white spots on the interior of the hat. 4) FIRE POLICE. A higher grade peaked cap for the Fire Police featuring a lavender band w/ a dark blue crown & hot pink piping. Plated eagle in wreath below a cockade. No chinstrap. 1 Side button present. Leather sweatband. No sweatshield. CONDITION: hat generally shows light wear overall. 5) ENLISTED INFANTRY. An enlisted grade hat for the infantry featuring a dark green band w/ a sage green crown & white piping. Aluminum wreath & cockade. No eagle present. No visor. Leather sweatband. No sweatshield. CONDITION: hat show slight to moderate wear despite its missing visor. 6) INFANTRY OFFICER. A nice officer grade hat for the infantry featuring a dark green band w/ a sage green crown & white piping. Bullion wreath w/ metal cockade & a bullion eagle. Silver bullion type chinstrap. Visor is present but detached. Leather sweatband. Sweatshield reads, “DEUTSCHES ERZEUGNIS”. CONDITION: visor is detached & broken on 1 end. Sweatband is partially detached. Slight moth damage is visible. Otherwise hat remains quite strong. (02-14293-1(6)/BF). $800-1,200.
