1) WWII LUFTWAFFE M43 STYLE CAP. A late war style cap in a mottled blue/gray w/ brown color. 2 Button ear flap. White Luftwaffe eagle on gray above a tricolor cockade. Satin like interior is stamped, "0/0629/000" over "1944 57". CONDITION: hat shows moderate to heavy wear w/ notable fading. Interior is complete but sweat stained. Visor is bent. 2) WWII ARMY OVERSEAS CAP. A fine quality Army overseas style cap for the medical corps. Cap is field green w/ a gray on green eagle above a tricolor cockade & royal blue chevron. Liner is complete & stamped, "G.A. HOFFMAN BERLIN SW 29". CONDITION: hat shows light wear overall. (02-13494(2)/BF). 3) WWI FELDMUTZE. A good quality Army feldmutze featuring a National & Wurttemberg cockade on the front. Body of cap is field green w/ bright red piping & lower band. Interior lining is tan but shows no markings. CONDITION: feldmutze shows light wear overall w/ some sweat staining to the interior. Cockades are a bit oxidized. National cockade is missing most of the red painted center. (02-13496/BF). 4) WWII LUFTWAFFE M43 WINTER FIELD CAP. A good example of cold weather cap providing warmth & ear protection as well as camouflage for the wearer. Sheepskin hat is mfg. skin side out w/ wool fleece lining & ear flaps. Ear flaps button on the top w/ a tan composite button. Front has a white Luftwaffe eagle on gray above a tricolor cockade. Sheepskin visor has a cotton underside. CONDITION: cap is well worn w/ a 2 1/4" tear to the sheepskin on the left side. Cap is a bit stained & somewhat dirty. (02-13506/BF). $800-1,200.
