1) EGYPTIAN INFANTRY RIFLE. Cal. 43 Egyptian Remington. NSN. Bbl. 30 3/4" w/ Amheric markings at breech end. Military blade front sight & graduated leaf rear sight. 2 Band forearm w/ sling swivel & slotted tipped ramrod. Walnut musket stock w/ steel buttplate & sling swivels. Left side of stock has markings that appear to be "E/71". CONDITION: cleaned metal has gray coloration from touch up finish & scattered pitting. Stock & forearm show heavy wear & handling marks w/ numerous cracks, chips & areas of epoxy repair. Bore retains worn rifling w/ scattered pitting. (01-17635/DS) 2) EGYPTIAN RIFLE. Cal. 43 Egyptian Remington. S# 247. Bbl. 35" w/ right side bayonet lug, breech end has Amheric markings. Blade front sight. Graduated leaf military rear sight. Left side of receiver has "EP" over crescent moon Egyptian Police markings. Right side of receiver has "247". 3 Band forearm & walnut musket stock w/ sling swivels & steel buttplate. CONDITION: cleaned gray metal w/ areas of pitting. Heavily worn wood shows wear, dark spots, chips, sm. cracks, dents & handling marks. Cleaning rod is replaced w/ drill rod. Bore has worn rifling w/ spots of deep pitting. (01-17641/DS) 3) REMINGTON INFANTRY RIFLE. Cal. 50-70. NSN. Bbl. 31 1/4" w/ blade front sight & graduated leaf military rear sight. Tang has 3 line address, last patent date is March 18th, 1874. 2 Band forearm & musket walnut stock w/ sling swivels & steel buttplate. Slotted tip ramrod. CONDITION: metal finish has faded to mottled gray w/ light pitting. Stock & forearm retains good finish w/ scattered handling marks. Chips along ramrod chip & crack extending from buttplate peak. Bore retains lightly worn rifling showing scattered spots of pitting. (01-17667/DS). 4) REMINGTON 1879 ARGENTINE INFANTRY RIFLE. Cal. 43 Spanish (11.15x58mm). NSN. Bbl. 36" rnd. w/ oct. shank. Top flat is marked "MODELO ARGENTINO 1879 E". Blade front sight w/ graduated leaf military rear sight. Top tang has 3 line marking, last patent date March 18, 1874. 3 Band forearm & walnut musket stock w/ sling swivels & steel buttplate. Slotted tipped cleaning rod. Comb of stock is stamped "R". CONDITION: bbl. & action retains over 90% lightly faded reblued finish. Refinished stock & forearm show scattered dents, scratches & handling marks. Bore is generally bright retaining sound rifling.
