ALL: cal. 6.5 Jap. Receivers marked on left side w/ interlocking circles indicating mfg. at Tokyo Arsenal. Mums have been ground off. 1) TYPE 44. S# 63494. Bbl. 18 7/8". Receiver retains Type 44 markings. Numbers match on receiver, nosecap, bayonet attachment & bolt body. Ladder rear sight graduated to 2,000m. Inverted V front sight w/ protective ears. Folding triangular 13 3/4" blade bayonet. Front nosecap screw is not present. Straight bolt handle w/ oval knob & checkered safety w/ sm. tab. Side swivels, flat steel buttplate w/ cleaning rod hole. Hardwood stock set w/ 2 piece buttstock construction. CONDITION: stock set has arsenal rework type finish w/ wear, dents & scratches throughout. Retains 80% original blue w/ light wear & scratches. Good shiny bore. (19-5827/RW). 2) TYPE 38. S# 1035623. Bbl. 31". Numbers match on receiver & bolt. Retains Type 38 marking. Ladder rear sight graduated to 2,400m. Inverted V front sight. Cleaning rod is present. Oval bolt knob. Lg. tang checkered safety knob. Mismatched hardwood stock set, buttstock has 2 piece construction. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: 15 5/8" fullered blade bayonet w/ curved quillon & hardwood grips. Right ricasso has interlocking circle Tokyo Arsenal marking. Unmarked blued steel scabbard. Bayonet retains lg. percentage of blue on blade. Handle turning overall patina. Grips have cracks, wear & staining. Scabbard has traces of blue turning patina w/ fine pitting throughout. CONDITION: stock set has heavy wear, dents, staining & scratches. Metal has 50% blue turning gray & patina w/ areas of moderate pitting on bbl. Poor worn dark bore. (19-5828/RW). 3) TYPE 38 PARTS GUN. S# 35150. Bbl. 31". Retains Type 38 markings. Rear sight graduated to 2,400m. Inverted V front sight. Cleaning rod is present. Bolt assembly is not present. CONDITION: stock set has heavy wear, dents, scratches & staining w/ sm. crack behind receiver tang. Metal is heavily oxidized w/ fine pitting. Has traces of blue turning overall patina.
