1) MANHATTEN BAR HAMMER PERCUSSION. Cal. 31. S# 508. Bbl. 3 3/8" oct. to rnd. w/ rifled bore. Engraved iron action w/ conventional trigger & bar hammer. Left side of hammer marked "MANHATTEN. F. A. MFG. / NEW YORK". 2 Piece walnut bag type grips. CONDITION: metal has cleaned gray appearance w/ scattered very light pitting. Sanded grips show heavy wear & handling marks. Bore is dark w/ light pitting retaining intact rifling. Action catches & is hesitant to fire properly. (01-16928/DS). 2) BACON RING TRIGGER PERCUSSION. Cal. 36. S# 4. Bbl. 4 3/4" oct. to rnd. w/ bead sight. Left flat is marked "BACON & CO. / NORWICH / CT.". Iron boxlock action w/ center mounted hammer & ring trigger having open pattern floral engraving. 2 Piece walnut bag type grips. Estimated quantity 400, 1850-1858. CONDITION: metal has light gray brown appearance showing spots of very light pitting. Grips show finish wear & handling marks. Bore has dark appearance w/ scattered pitting & retains sound rifling. (01-17013/DS). 3) BACON HIGH STANDING RECOIL SHIELD TYPE LARGE FRAME. Cal. 32 Long RF. S# 410. Bbl. 4" oct. w/ bead front & V notch rear. Top flat is marked "BACON MFG CO. NORWICH. CONN.". Spur trigger iron action w/ center mounted hammer. Bbl. rotates to right for loading. 2 Piece walnut grips. Clean metal has added browned finish. Sanded grips show heavy wear w/ chips at toe. Dark bore w/ largely intact rifling showing scattered pitting. (01-17040/DS). ALL ANTIQUES. $750-1,250.
