Plain blade swells at the tip & marked at the ricasso, “MODELO ARGENTINO 1909 (crest)” & “WEYERSBERG KIRSCHBAUM & CO SOLINGEN”. S shaped crossguard w/ arsenal stamps. Iron bird head like pommel stamped, “RA” in oval. 2 Piece wood grips. Black iron scabbard. Leather frog. CONDITION: sword shows generally light wear overall. (02-15081/BF). 2) PRUSSIAN M1864 FASCHINENMESSER ARTILLERY SHORT SWORD. Overall length: 22 1/4". Blade length: 17 1/8". Plain slightly curved blade marked at the ricasso w/ an illegible maker’s mark & “SOLINGEN”. Solid brass hilt w/ S shaped crossguard stamped w/ arsenal/inventory marks. Bird head like pommel. Integral brass crosshatched grips. No scabbard. CONDITION: blade has a pitted mottled patina & shows heavy cleaning. Hilt shows light wear. (02-15082/BF). 3) M1891 ARGENTINE MAUSER BAYONET. Overall length: 21 1/4". Blade length: 15 7/8". Single fullered blade marked at the ricasso, “WEYERSBERG KIRSCHBAUM & CO SOLINGEN” on 1 side & the mark on the other side has been ground away. Steel crossguard & pommel. 2 Piece aluminum grips. Anodized iron scabbard. CONDITION: light wear overall. (02-15083/BF). $500-750.
