3 Heavy cotton or cotton linen slings, all of different lengths but each approx. 1.75" wide (32" - 33" each). Each sling has iron wire hook at one end & approx. .75" wide flat leather sling loop at the other. Sewn onto reverse side of each sling is a leather strip, 2 slings leather starts about 8" from hook & 1 starts 4" from hook, leather strips range 8" – 10" long w/ holes designed to receive the hook. CONDITION: very good overall. 2 Slings have additional leather adj. loops. Fabric soiled & stained. Scuffs & crazing to leather strips, but complete. PROVENANCE: Atlanta History Center 2005. (02-12958, 02-12959, 02-12964/JS). $1,200-1,800.
