1) Cal. About 62 smoothbore. Famous “M” rifle, for many years these were thought to be Confederate but more recent research has concluded they were made in New York by Moore. Lock is dated 1861 w/ Eagle over shield w/ “M”; 35” bbl. was once rifled. CONDITION: fair to good overall metal is dark, front band, nosecap, & rats ramrod are added, stock has been refinished w/ rounded edges; mechanically functional w/ smoothbore. 2) Cal 65. Enfield 2 band rifle w/ 33” smoothbore bbl. Bbl. has fixed rear sight & indiscernible markings Lethbridge, the lock is unmarked, probably British colonial. CONDITION: fair to good overall. Front band replaced w/ non infield band but as matching sling swivel to 1 in stock, mechanically functional w/ smoothbore. 3) Cal. 58. S# 5921. reproduction Mississippi rifle, standard configuration w/ 33" bbl. CONDITION: very good overall, excellent mechanics and bright shiny rifled bore. PROVENANCE: From the Estate of Ronald A.
