BOTH: mfg. in Philadelphia, PA 1880's-1890's. Exposed hammer action w/ thumb piece opener on top tang. 1) Cal. 32 RF. S# 1271. Bbl. 25" medium weight oct. w/ Rocky Mountain front sight & U notch sporting rear sight. Nickel finished action w/ conventional trigger & finger curl trigger guard. Walnut forearm & rnd. knob stock w/ nickel finished crescent steel buttplate. CONDITION: bbl. finish has faded to brown showing spots of light corrosion. Action retains faint traces of nickel in protected areas fading to gray & showing scattered spots of light pitting. Forearm has worn appearance w heavy wear along right bbl. channel. Original stock finish showing numerous scratches & handling marks. Dark pitted bore. (01-17183/DS). 2) Cal. 22 RF. S# 1121. Bbl. 24" lightweight oct. w/ German silver blade front sight & fixed V notch rear sight. Nickel finished action w/ conventional trigger & finger curl trigger guard. Rifle is not fitted for forearm. Straight grip walnut stock w/ nickel finished crescent steel buttplate. CONDITION: bbl. retains 40% worn blue fading to brown & showing spots of surface corrosion & light pitting. Action retains 70% nickel blending w/ spots of flaking. Stock has good finish showing scratches & marks. Dark pitted bore. (01-17184/DS). BOTH ANTIQUE. $800-1,200.
