1) US SPRINGFIELD 1884 CADET TRAPDOOR RIFLE. Cal. 45-70. S# 499995. Bbl. 29 5/8". Lowered front sight, rear sight is removed. Replacement 1873 dated low arch breech block. Replacement 1873 short comb 2 band walnut stock. Slotted tipped iron ramrod. Bottom of stock below stock has hand cut initials "U.R.". Peak of buttplate is stamped "55". CONDITION: bbl., lockplate, trigger guard & breech block finish have faded gray coloration from touch up finish. Action retains 50% faded blue showing touch up. Hammer has 75% fading blue. Sanded & refinished stock shows scratches & marks. Bore retains sound rifling showing scattered spots of pitting. (01-17200/DS). 2) BELGIAN ZULU CONVERSION SINGLE SHOT SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 Ga. S# N591. Bbl. 34 1/4". Top of bbl. marked "ZULU". Conversion from musket using breech loading action. Breech block swings to right for loading. Stock is cut to single band sporter style. CONDITION: metal has mottled gray brown appearance showing areas of cleaning & light pitting. Stock has added varnish over dents & handling marks. Bore shows scattered spots of pitting. (01-17201/DS). 3) US SPRINGFIELD MODEL 1884 TRAPDOOR RIFLE. Cal. 45-70. S# 359949. Bbl. 32 5/8". Buffington rear sight. 1884 Dated low arch breech block. 2 Band walnut stock w/ sling swivels. Right side of stock has faintly visible cartouche w/ 1889 date. Slotted button tipped iron ramrod. CONDITION: bbl. & action have 80% dull blue fading to brown showing scattered spots of very light pitting. Lock & hammer retains 80% dull lightly faded blue. Sanded & refinished stock shows dents & handling marks. Bore is generally bright retaining sound rifling w/ scattered spots of pitting. (01-17202/DS). ALL ANTIQUE. $800-1,200.
