Features include mushroom shaped release buttons, linkage operated extractors, conventional triggers, frame mounted firing pins & iron buttcaps. 2 Piece walnut grips. Mfg. 1907-1916. 1) OFFHAND TARGET. S# 42383. Cast style trigger guard. Bead front sight & elevator adj. U notch rear sight. CONDITION: over 80% lightly faded blue showing edge wear. Grips show light wear w/ scattered scratches & marks. Bore retains largely intact rifling showing scattered light pitting. (19-5693/DS). 2) OFFHAND. S# 4345. Blade front sight w/ elevator adj. U notch rear sight. Stamped sheet metal trigger guard as used after 1929. CONDITION: over 90% blue showing edge & muzzle wear. Sanded & refinished grips show handling marks. Bore retains largely sound rifling showing spots of pitting. (19-5696/DS). BOTH CURIO. $600-900.
