Both have iron frames featuring mushroom shaped extractors, conventional triggers, linkage operated extractors, frame mounted firing pins & iron buttcaps. 2 Piece walnut grips. 1) OFFHAND TARGET. S# 37014. Bbl. 10" rnd. w/ oct. shank. Bead front sight w/ elevator adj. U notch rear sight. Blue finish bbl. w/ nickel finished frame. Cast iron trigger guard. Knurled hammer spur. Mfg. 1907-1916. CONDITION: 80% lightly worn blue showing spots of freckling & pitting. Frame retains 80% nickel showing spots of flaking. Grips have added varnish over scratches & marks. Bore is bright w/ sound rifling. (19-5688/DS). 2) OFFHAND. S# 36328. Bbl. 8" rnd. w/ oct shank. Blade front sight hand filed to lower height. Elevation adj. rear sight has hand widened U shaped notch. Full blue finish. Stamped sheet metal trigger guard as used after 1929. Late style hammer w/ grooved spur. Mfg. 1923-1942. CONDITION: over 80% lightly worn blue. Grips have areas of peeling finish w/ scratches & marks. Front edge of frame shows distortion from bbl. contact. Bore has sound rifling. (19-5699/DS).
