BOTH: 50 CF. 1) S# 437. Bbl. 8" rnd. w/ semi circular sight. Commercial model, action has standard 2 line address on left side. Walnut forearm & replacement walnut 1 piece grip. Chamber is lengthened & top of hammer is beveled to accept auxiliary chambers. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: 3 "Gauge Mate" stainless steel auxiliary cartridge inserts: 1 in 22 LR, the other 2 are 44 Mag. / 410, 2 1/2" marked "USE WIN AA / REM STS AMMO". CONDITION: over 90% reblued finish w/ areas of remaining pitting. Forearm is heavily worn, undersized w/ spots of darkening having cracks & chips along bbl. channel & action. Replacement grip shows heavy wear w/ chips at action. Dark pitted bore. (01-17566/DS). 2) NSN. Bbl. 8" rnd. w/ semi circular front sight. Action has US inspection marks "P" & "S" on left side w/ 2 line address, last patent April 17th, 1866. Walnut forearm & 1 piece grips. Left side of grip has partially visible cartouche. CONDITION: metal finish has faded to brown showing scattered light pitting. Wood has dark worn appearance w/ handling marks. Grip is chipped below backstrap. Bore retains strong rifling showing scattered pitting. (01-17567/DS). BOTH ANTIQUE. $750-1,250.
