1) MODEL 39. Cal. 22 S, L, LR. S# HS3716. Bbl. 24" tapered oct. w/ sporting front sight & V notch elevator adj. rear sight. Top bbl. flat has holes w/ plug screws for scope base attachment. Action is fitted w/ tip off scope base. Full length tubular mag. Walnut forearm & S curved pistol grip stock have original horizontal grooved composite buttplate w/ added white line spacer. Mfg. 1951. CONDITION: metal retains 98% heavily polished reblued finish. Front sight has broken bead. Wood is heavily sanded & undersized w/ gloss finish showing scattered scratches & marks. Bore retains generally sound cut rifling showing spots of pitting near muzzle. (20-433/DS). 2) MODEL 336-A. Cal. 30-30. S# E31577. Bbl. 24" rnd. w/ ramp mounted bead front sight & elevator adj. sporting rear sight. 2/3 Length mag. Beavertail forearm & pistol grip walnut stock w/ original buttplate. Leather sling on added QD swivels. Mfg. 1948. CONDITION: 80% lightly faded blue showing edge wear & spots of freckling. Original wood finish shows wear in carry areas w/ dents & scratches. Bore retains good cut rifling. (20-434/DS). BOTH CURIO. $600-800.
