1) Overall length: 32". Blade length: 26". Blade has a single wide fuller & is marked at the ricasso "U.S.N. / D.R / 1863" on 1 side & a partially visible "(AMES MFG CO) CHICOPEE MASS" on the other. Brass cup hilt w/ leather wrapped grip. No scabbard. CONDITION: blade has a cleaned, light gray, lightly pitted finish. Hilt has a pleasing patina w/ some denting to the cup. Leather wrap is about 75% intact. 2) Overall length: 31 7/8". Blade length: 25 3/4". Blade has a single wide fuller & is marked "(anchor)1861." on 1 side & "Made by AMES MFG CO CHICOPEE. MASS." on the other. Brass cup hilt w/ leather wrapped grip. No scabbard. CONDITION: blade has a light gray patina. Hilt has a pleasing mustard patina. Grip leather is about 85% complete. (02-13235-1(2)/BF). $600-900.
