1) MAUSER byf CODE LUGER. Cal. 9mm Luger. S# 3908a. Bbl. 4" w/ fin shaped front sight. Chamber dated 41 on receiver w/ eagle 655 proofs as found on Ku rebuilds. Mixed frame components of: takedown lever 19, safety bar 77, safety lever unreadable ending in 8, hold open latch 08 & trigger 06. Bbl. & receiver numbered 675. All of toggle assembly including rear pivot plus sideplate & sear numbered 75 checkered walnut grips; left numbered 35 or 85; right blank. Underside of bbl. CAI import marked. MAGS: 2 total; blued 8 rd.; original w/ aluminum base having dent on bottom of right dimple plus scratches; numbered 6462w & aftermarket w/ aluminum base & follower. CONDITION: poor overall w/ proper mechanical functioning. Bottom of trigger guard & right frame rail having appearance of heavy pitting filled w/ JB Weld as if prepping for finish coating. Heavy pitting throughout (much being cleaned); toggle assembly best appearing. Noticeably worn grips w/ chip on left by safety lever & crack on right in mag. button slot; only visible from back. Poor, worn & pitted bore. (20-984/NW). 2) MAUSER MODEL 1896 PRE-WAR COMMERCIAL. Cal. 30 Mauser. S# 119566. Bbl. 3.9". Unusual assembly w/ exposed matching numbers plus floorplate. 50-1000 Tangent rear sight & inverted V blade front. Grip frame No. light w/ different font, 9 in receiver dbl. struck & all other numbers matching in appearance including receiver. Mauser legend on right side of frame & over chamber. Crown U proofs & grooves in receiver rails. Slotted grip w/ lanyard ring & 32 groove walnut grips. Bottom of bbl. CAI import marked. CONDITION: fair to good worn finish appearing cleaned w/ light prior pitting. Fair grips w/ most marks & wear near bottom; left better than right. Poor cleaned bore w/ barely a trace of rifling. Good mechanical functioning. Grip section of frame w/ slight cast at butt to left; about 1/8". (20-1064/NW). BOTH CURIO. $800-1,200.
