Pawnee is written in togia on this revolver with a message: "friend Soldier Wolf". Pawnee joined the Kit Fox Warrior Society and there met and befriended Soldier Wolf. The Collector believes Pawnee carried this revolver at the Battle of Little Bighorn as the Kit Fox Warrior Society were camp guards there. Pawnee and Soldier Wolf surrendered in April 1877 and lived the rest of their lives on the Cheyenne River Reservation in Montana.
