Cal. 69. NSN. Standard configuration. Bbl. 42" rnd. w/ "VP" & eagle head proofs. Lock w/ eagle & "US" plus "HARPERS / FERRY / 1846" on tail. Iron mounted w/ dbl. strap front band w/ attached brass blade front sight. CONDITION: good to very good overall. Metal overall gray patina w/ staining & pitting. Markings discernable but eagle on lock is weak & no bbl. date is seen. Stock is sound, refinished w/ a couple sets of initials carved. Appears original & complete, ramrod is bent & threading missing at end. Mechanically fine w/ pitted smooth bore. (01-17130/JS). ANTIQUE. $700-900.
