Attractive glossy chocolate and darker olive brown. Looks choice with great detail, but a glass reveals that both sides were lightly smoothed and expertly retoned. No idea why the cent was smoothed; it shows no trace of roughness or other problems that might have moved someone to alter the surfaces. The only marks are a few very light scratches on the forehead extending into the field and hair, all lost in the toning. EDS, Breen state I, before any crumbling in the dentils.
