Ancient India: Western Kshatrapas, Karddamaka dynasty, silver drachm of Rudrasena I s/o Rudrasimha I as Mahakshatrapa (SE 144-160/ 222-238 AD), dated SE 143 (fully visible), Fishman 13.2b.143, Mint A3, listed as 'extremely rare', 2.08g. Obv: profile bust of king facing right, Greek legend around; date behind the head. Rev: dynastic emblem in centre, Brahmi legend Rajño Mahakshatrapasa Rudrasihasa putrasa Rajño Mahakshatrapasa Rudrasenasa around.

Extremely fine, Extremely rare.

Fishman identifies coins of this variety as 'mint A3' because of their distinctive style. They are very similar to rare issues of Damasena as Kshatrapa. The coin has minor die slippage on reverse resulting in shadows in the legend.
